Winemaker: Tom White

The Curator Wine Co was established in 2012 by Tom White. . Located on the western side of the Barossa Valley’s sub-region of Marananga and comprising 8 blocks, each with unique soil profiles all of which contribute to the distinctive composition of the grapes.

Tom is passionate about curating individual wines from each block to show the differences in soil profiles, rootstock, and vine age. The end goal is to make wines that reflect their site through minimal handling and intervention.

Tom stands firm that wines are made in the vineyard, so fruit is hand harvested, wild ferment, and basket pressed into French oak with no fining or filtration creating dark, flavoursome and juicy wines with a smooth balanced finish.
